Directed efforts to attract home the highly skilled diaspora (skills bank) could help the nation streamline economic priorities, bolster emerging tech innovation activities and fast-track Cameroon into an emerging economy.

• We hold working sessions with the government on available options to remove any legal barriers to the Cameroon Diaspora of working age to be in public service and government jobs.
• We sample and analyse diaspora expectations towards possible civil service roles in Cameroon, as well as conditions for private enterprise.
• We prompt the government on the need for innovation institutions to attract and absorb highly skilled Cameroon Diaspora for teaching, research and development.
